This foundation was started because of the GOAT, our AntStrong, Francis Anthony Lichauco. Our AntStrong was diagnosed with AML (Acute Myeloid Leukemia) in February 2021.  He fought hard through his chemo regimen and was in remission for 14 months.  Unfortunately, Anthony relapsed in January 2023 and we went down the bone marrow transplant journey.  Even with a 10 out of 10 international match, the viruses continued to attack his body and his new immune system never got a chance to grow.  He fought hard, so incredibly hard…

On September 14, 2023, our AntStrong received his angel wings.  The pain has been unbearable, unbelievable and unrepairable.  We have so many why’s, and so many tears.  We hold on to the strength he had and keep his legacy alive and this foundation to thrive!

Anthony was the most giving, CARING,  and positive human being you could ever cross paths with. Even with his own fight and diagnosis, our AntStrong would make effort to provide speakers to patients on leukemia units of Stanford Healthcare.  When Anthony was in remission for 14 months, he made monthly visits and would stand at the doors of inpatients, inspiring them and encouraging them to keep going.  He was a walking testament of a true fighter who became our warrior.  Anthony would take time every morning and send over 200 text messages to colleagues, friends and family every day.  These text messages were encouraging and positive vibe images that helped others start their day a little bit brighter.  He brought friends and families together like no one else would. He gave love to his Lichauco girls unconditionally and was an amazing father and husband.  His golden heart was one of a kind and will live on forever.

With this foundation, we want to continue to provide books and speakers to inpatient cancer patients. Anthony was a huge music and tech guru. When he was first admitted, he realized that the one thing that can keep a patient going was music.  Music was everything to him and also the reason why he would do many laps around the unit. On top of that, he needed these speakers to be sure when he was on zoom calls  or  FaceTime with loved ones, he can hear them loud and clear. He was the patient who brought his own huge TV with a camera so he can do his 7 o’clock zoom with his fam crew. His originality, his uniqueness, his comedy brought smiles to everyone at the hospital. His energy and positive vibes attitude lives on inside each of us. This foundation is based on 100% love and giving back because that is exactly what he always did…love hard and give all.

As his wife, I promised that I would keep this AntStrong forever foundation going forever, because he is my forever.

His Lichauco girls will continue to carry on his beautiful legacy.  They are little Francis Anthony’s and they have his love, his personality, and his golden heart imbedded in their hearts forever.

Thank you for your love and support,

Melissa, Alina, Alissa

Wolfpack forever!
